A place for community

 Those familiar with the history of the Parish Hall will know that it has stood at the heart of village life for more than half a century. Our hope as a committee is that it will continue to play this vital role for the next fifty years and beyond.

Over the past ten years, we’ve worked hard to transform the hall and have hosted events from Circus Berzercus to Big Al and These are just a couple examples of the events that have drawn full houses and brought joy to our community

With the village continuing to grow, we want to hear from you—your interests, your ideas, and your needs. Your feedback will help us unlock the hall’s full potential.

We want the hall to be a warm, welcoming, and safe space for everyone—somewhere to celebrate, gather, learn, relax, work, and play. A place where you can dance the night away, watch your children grow and play, start a small business, join a class, watch a film, listen to music, or train your puppy—or your abs!

Whether it's throwing a pot, attending a meeting, celebrating a wedding, or honouring a loved one, the possibilities are endless. We’re always open to new ideas and welcome suggestions for activities the community would enjoy.

We are not complacent. To serve the evolving needs of our growing population, we must look ahead—adapting to changing interests and embracing sustainability. We’re committed to becoming more efficient and reducing our environmental impact. There’s lots to be done, but we’re up for the challenge.

While we strive to keep hire rates affordable, running costs are rising—and our much-loved hall is no longer in the first flush of youth. Some essential upgrades are needed. That said, we offer preferential rates for local weekly groups, charitable causes, and children’s parties.

This hall is your hall. Let’s continue making it a thriving, inclusive space for the entire village.
